Custom software for Symétrie gimbals and hexapods
The positioner moves from within the test itself, and every measurement is linked to the position where it was taken.
A gimbal or a hexapod can orient the unit under test with great precision, but it only pays off when its moves are part of the test.
We develop that control. For example:
- field-of-view sweeps, measuring at each position;
- checking each target against the limits of your setup before moving;
- not letting the test continue until the positioner confirms it has arrived;
- storing the exact position with every data point.
On the PLATO test bench the gimbal was coordinated with the illumination and image acquisition.
