Custom software for Thorlabs PM100 and SC10
Power meter and shutter controlled from your bench software, coordinated with the light source and the filters.
On an optical bench, the shutter, the power meter and the light source have to work together. Doing it by hand is slow and hard to repeat exactly the same way twice.
We develop the software that controls them together. For example:
- exposures with exact timing, opening and closing the shutter from the program;
- the power measured for each exposure and stored with it;
- sweeps that change filter or wavelength, measure and repeat without intervention;
- the shutter always in a known state, and closed at the end.
On the PLATO test bench we worked with the SC10 shutter and the PM100 power meter.
